My now Veteran husband and our children enjoyed our time here so much that we officially became locals and have since planted roots here! Utilizing the VA Loan process, our first home purchase was in Fort Mitchell, AL 6 years ago. Fast forward 4 years and we have since moved THREE times all within the area! I mention this because I have first hand experience living in all the major ‘HOT’ spots for incoming military families when considering the available options to buy.
